No dia 19 de fevereiro de 2021 rolou o evento virtual Anime Awards 2021. Premiação que conta com votação da mídia especializada e do público. Este ano, a premiação bateu o recorde com mais de 15 milhões de votos ( superando  11 milhões de votos de 2020). A quinta edição contou com 18 categorias, Jujutsu Kaisen e Keep Your Hands off Eizouken! foram os animes que tiveram maior numero de indicações.
